Providing You with Respite and Care.

 

Here at Mollie's Mates, we are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming space for every individual, whilst fostering a warm environment offering respite and opportunities for individuals to connect with others who have similar interests. Our focus is on promoting independence by engaging with the community and supporting the development of essential life skills. 

 

We became Mollie's Mates after three women working in Special Educational Needs (SEN) decided they wanted to create a welcoming atmosphere for respite sessions. Our goal was to establish a space where like minded service users could come together and make friends. Our team possesses a diverse range of skills, including the ability to administer medications and provide first-aid, use sign-along/PEC/symbols, and has a extensive expertise in various types of learning disabilities/additional needs. 

Services:

At Mollie's Mates we provide various support options for our service users, including programs, resources and assistance tailored to their needs:

  • Supervised activities; Arts & Crafts, Outdoor games, Music & Dance, Cooking sessions, Board games & Puzzles, Gardening.

  • Occupational Therapy; Focusing on helping service users with developing their daily living skills, fine motor skills and sensory processing. 

​

  • Physical activities; Balance and Co-ordination, stretching and flexibility exercises, focusing on mobility, 

  • Outings; At Mollie's mates we organise trips out in the community, from bowling, BigNight out', and themeparks. 

  • We also offer a wide range of sensory engagement, we enjoy having tuff tray's out with different sensory things.
